Bond Measures Y and Z were passed in November 2008 for $355 million. In the past six years the District has opened the first brand new school in the District in 40 years – J.H. Hull Middle School, reunited Fern Elementary School with a brand new fourth and fifth grade building, redone the four high school athletic fields, and completed renovation projects at Hickory, Seaside, Walteria, and Wood Elementary Schools, Bert Lynn, Calle Mayor, Madrona, and Magruder Middle Schools, and South High School. All projects were completed on time. We are looking forward to the continued successful completion of the remaining projects, through 2019.
